New grammar test

We're pleased to introduce an all-new Grammar test, which performs a grammar check on all of your webpages. This test is now available to all customers at no extra charge. Re-run your existing reports to see the new test (some customers with special settings may need to contact us to enable this).

What languages are supported?

The Grammar test supports the following languages:

• French
• Italian
• Catalan
• Chinese
• Danish
• Dutch
• Greek
• Japanese
• Polish
• Portuguese
• Romanian
• Russian
• Slovak
• Slovenian
• Swedish

For it to work, you need to tell Silktide what languages your website uses, as you already do for the Spelling test. If your site uses multiple languages, Silktide will attempt to detect the main language each page uses, and test only that language for that page. This does mean if a webpage mixes two languages together extensively, Silktide will be unable to grammar check that page.
