SSL security and more
Your access to Insites is now secured via SSL. You can
log in to Insites via SSL here.
Insites has to rewrite every single webpage it displays in the Inspector for SSL to work. To ensure these changes don't cause any disruption, we will leave the
non-SSL login available for a few days.
Other changes
- The Speed test has been divided into a Mobile and a Desktop speed test.
- The Speed test has a vastly expanded set of recommendations and checkpoints.
- The SEO fundamentals test now lists the unique headings for the site (H1, H2 etc), counts how many pages each heading is used on, and allows you to view those pages.
- Insites now detects more obscure analytics providers.
- Expanded spelling dictionary and rules for obscure punctuation, like "this|example".
- Various fixes and refinements.
